President of the Association of Serbs from the Region Miodrag Linta considers the decision by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), headed by Elmedin Konakovic, to send a protest to Serbia to be another hypocritical provocation, the association announced.

The note was sent because of participation of top Serbian officials in the celebration of January 9, the supposedly unconstitutional Serb Republic Day.

The association added that the decision regarding the constitutionality of marking January 9 was made by the Constitutional Court of BiH, which is "anti-Dayton, because decisions are made in majority votes of three foreign judges and two Bosniak judges with the aim of weakening the position of the Serb Republic and strengthening BiH, toward creating a unitary state."

"At the same time, the authorities in Sarajevo officially welcome the separatist Albin Kurti, who with his policies violates the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia. In this way, Sarajevo is insulting Serbia regarding Kosovo and Metohija," the statement added.

It concluded to say that the recent reception of Kurti in Sarajevo directly threatens regional stability because the Bosniak government is trampling on international law, i.e. the principle of internationally recognized borders.
