Prime Minister of Serbia Milos Vucevic said last evening at a ceremonial reception on the occasion of the Day of the Serb Republic (RS, Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina) in Banja Luka that Serbia is proud of everything the RS has achieved in the last 33 years, and will always stand with it.

"We are humbled before, and grateful to all those who gave their lives in the foundations of the RS," said Prime Minister Vucevic.

He pointed out that Serbia was and will be with the Serb Republic.

"This is not an obligation of Serbia only in accordance with the Dayton Peace Agreement, but also with the principle of moral values and the understanding that we belong to one nation and history. I think that Serbia has also shown itself to be a sincere partner to the Serb Republic," said Vucevic.

He added that only messages of love, peace and St. Sava's spirit could be heard in Banja Luka during the ceremony.

"Even if they banned us from coming by car, plane or train, we would come on foot, proud of you, humbled before you, and grateful to all those who laid down their lives in the foundations of the Serb Republic. That is our obligation," said the prime minister of Serbia.

A formal reception was organized last night on the occasion of the RS Day in the Administrative Center of the Government of the Serb Republic in Banja Luka, which was attended by a Serbian delegation led by Prime Minister Milos Vucevic, that included Serbian Patriarch Porfirije.

The guests were welcomed by RS Prime Minister Radovan Viskovic.

Previously, a ceremonial gathering was held in a packed Borik Sports Arena in Banja Luka.
