Serb List: Tax Administration employees in Kosovo and Metohija will continue to receive salaries from budget

The Serb List has announced that employees of the Tax Administration in Kosovska Mitrovica, whose premises were illegally and violently usurped by Kurti's regime, will continue to receive all payments from the Serbian budget, as before.

Serb List leaders stated this after consultations with competent Serbian state authorities, including the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, and on that occasion it was stressed that "Kurti closed the premises, but not the tax service of Serbia which operates in Kosovo and Metohija."

The leadership of the Serb List met on Wednesday with employees of the Tax Administration in Kosovska Mitrovica, said a statement, adding that by illegally and violently closing the premises and throwing 80 Serb employing to the street, Albin Kurti continued his election campaign, which he conducts exclusively over the backs of the Serb people because he has nothing to offer to his voters.

The statement points out that this is about bullying and harassment of people who spent their entire working life in that building and served honorably all communities, without exception.

"While Kurti, with his police and obedient ministers, like Nenad Rasic, forcibly occupies and grabs Serb buildings and facilities, he cannot force the Serb people to leave their centuries-old homes nor prevent us and the state of Serbia from helping our people," the statement emphasized.

Earlier on Wednesday, the so-called Kosovo police raided and closed the branch of the Tax Administration of the Republic of Serbia in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica.
