Suspect in Cetinje massacre commits suicide
Aco Martinović, suspect for multiple murder in Cetinje in Montenegro, comitted suicide when police forces sorounded him near his house.
Interior Minister Danilo Šaranović said that Martinović was found near his house in the Humci neighborhood.
"The suspect in the multiple murder in Cetinje, Aco Martinović (45), attempted suicide tonight and died during transport to the hospital," Šaranović said at the second extraordinary press conference in Cetinje.
Martinović is suspected of killing at least ten people, two of whom were children, and wounding four people on Wednesday, after which he fled.
Acting Director of the Police, Laraz Šćepanović, said that Martinović shot himself in the head.
At least 10 people, including two children, were killed in a mass crime in Cetinje on Wednesday, while doctors from the Clinical Center in Podgorica are fighting for the lives of four Cetinje residents. Martinović began the crime in the "Velestovo" tavern, near the Sports Center at the entrance to Cetinje, where he killed four people, and then killed at least seven more people at three other locations in the city, including three women and two boys, two brothers aged 10 and 13.
