Whether the Serb List will participate in the elections in Kosovo and Metohija depends on the Quint, the European Union and NATO, not on Albin Kurti - the events in Kosovo and Metohija are an agreement between the West and Kurti, and everything is being done to ethnically cleanse Kosovo and Metohija of Serbs, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin has said.

"Let's be serious, does anyone really think that Kurti is the only politician on the planet who can stand against the EU and NATO. One of the most powerful countries in the world, the US, declares that it is worried about what Kurti is doing and does absolutely nothing about it. If they are worried, let them impose sanctions on him. Let's impose them on Kurti, out of huge concern. No, this is an agreement and everything is being done so the EU doesn't have to respect its signature on the agreement to form the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO), but also so that with the passing of time, the ethnic cleansing of the Serbs from the territory of Kosovo and Metohija is carried out, and then it's not important, and then who cares about the ZSO or anything else because - there are no Serbs, there is no problem. That's their policy," Vulin stated.

He stressed that Serbia is doing everything it can both diplomatically and economically.

"We made sure that not a single Serb in the area of Kosovo and Metohija is left without a salary and their income, without welfare benefits. And this is increasing day by day. And the state of Serbia is working, investing wherever Serbs live. That's our way, that's our only fight. Can we convince the US to stop playing that double game with Kurt and convince the EU and NATO not to support Kurti? We can't. They are publicly worried but are in fact very satisfied with what is happening, every raid into the North makes them happy, every time Serbs are deprived of their legitimate rights makes them absolutely happy and everything they do against Serbs makes them very happy," the deputy prime minister said, and added that he does not expect major changes after the inauguration of US President Trump.

"I expect that we will have a little more space to express our opinion, I do not expect that the US will all of a sudden become a big advocate for respecting Serbia's territorial integrity. The 20th century ended with the last great unpunished crime - the (NATO) bombing of Serbia, the rape of Serbia and this hypocrisy, when they talk about Ukraine's borders being sacred, while Serbia's borders just happen not to be - they cannot fool anyone. There is no international law, and I do not believe that great powers will ever respect it."
