Office for Kosovo and Metohija: Pristina bans Office's assistant director from visiting Serbs during holiday
The Office for Kosovo and Metohija announced today that Pristina has banned Assistant Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Svetlana Miladinov from visit Kosovo and Metohija and congratulating Serbian Orthodox believers on the great feast of St. Nicholas.
At the same time, it was impossible for Belgrade's liaison officer Dejan Pavicevic to visit the Serbs detained by Pristina today and verify the conditions in which they are kept, their state of health, given the numerous complaints that they are being treated inhumanely and that their basic human rights are being violated.
On the one hand, it is a direct violation by Pristina of the agreement on freedom of movement and official visits, two days after the last round of dialogue in Brussels, which shows that Albin Kurti and Bislmi do not care about the European Union or the dialogue process itself.
During the tripartite meeting two days ago in Brussels, we once again agreed on full compliance with the agreement on official visits, but Pristina once again trampled on everything, the Office said.
These bans actually show all the weakness of Kurti's regime and confirm that Kurti's approval rating is seriously shaken before the upcoming elections on February 9, so he is trying to recover by banning Serb representatives from visiting Kosovo and Metohija.
"We, as well as the international community, have known for a long time that it is much more important for Kurti to try to flex the muscle on the Serb people and Belgrade, than to respect the dialogue and agreements reached, so Belgrade has no choice but to act in accordance with the latest moves made by Pristina," the Office said.
