Dodik comments on Kurti's Sarajevo trip: "It's a provocation"
Milorad Dodik, president of the Serb Republic (RS, Serb entity in BiH), said last night that the trip of the prime minister of provisional Pristina institutions, Albin Kurti, to Sarajevo, at the invitation of the Association of Independent Intellectuals Krug 99, is a provocation.
Relations within Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) will become significantly more complicated due to Kurti's visit, Dodik added.
RTRS reported, citing media from the other entity, FBiH, that Kurti is coming to Sarajevo today.
"We do not allow Albanians from that area to enter with identity cards because that would mean a form of a recognition of so-called Kosovo. In that sense, we received the news that Kurti would be visiting in Sarajevo.
And when we intervened and said that it would be a trigger for serious problems among us in Bosnia and Herzegovina, then they (authorities in Sarajevo) came up with some non-governmental organization inviting him.
Therefore, they are determined to bring him to Sarajevo and provoke, and then telling us that Serbia is doing something wrong, even though Serbia respects the territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina," said Dodik.
