President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic says that Hungary will schedule a new session for next week after ambassadors of the European Union member countries yesterday did not greenlight the opening of Cluster 3 in Serbia's EU accession negotiations.

Vucic told RTS that eight countries were against this during Wednesday's meeting, but that he could not explain how Serbia has wronged the Bulgarians, so they were among those countries, while as far as the Croats are concerned, he understands it all, adding that for Serbia, the most important thing is to fight and talk to everyone.

"There were eight countries at the meeting, three Baltic countries, Sweden, Finland and the Netherlands and, of course, Croatia and Bulgaria. If I had to answer to God what it is we did to the Bulgarians, I wouldn't know how to explain. It seems to me that I understand what the real reasons are (for the rest), despite the fact that you will never hear them. And I don't have a big problem understanding them," Vucic told RTS.

He said Germany being in favor of opening Cluster 3 was a very positive thing.

"France and Italy were also in favor and I thank them for their support. We are talking about support from big countries. Now, will we succeed or not? I thank them if they open that Cluster 3 for us, and if they don't. No problem," Vucic said.

The presidend added that Serbia will aim to be the fastest growing economy in the whole of Europe next year.
