New details of horrible incident during chemistry class in Obrenovac, when student drank acid!
A 16 year-old student of the Agricultural and Chemistry School in Obrenovac, who drank 3 sips of nitric acid during chemistry class yesterday, is in hospital in Belgrade and in a stable condition.
We have unofficially learned that she drank the entire amount of the toxic content she had with her.
"She took three sips from the vial, that's as much as she ingested, and no one had time to stop her. The witnesses of this sad event, her teacher, the students, then the girl's parents, and she herself will be questioned in this case," investigators told us.
The girls has injuries to her esophagus and stomach.
The motive for this act is not yet known, and what could be heard from her friends is that she had engaged in self-harm before.
The investigation is conducted by the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Obrenovac.
