The journalist, who specialized in the Middle East, was found on Monday without signs of life on the balcony of the apartment where she lived.
Marina Vlahovic reported from Ramallah in Palestine for three years, from 2016 to 2019.
About four years ago, she moved to Marseille. In recent years, she has made several documentaries about Cairo and Lebanon and has recorded several award-winning podcasts.
At this time, it is not known how Marina died. An autopsy was requested, and the police launched an investigation.
