Dacic attends funeral of Dragan Markovic Palma: The minister cried when he spoke about his death

Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dacic on Tuesday attended at the funeral of his political colleague and friend Dragan Markovic Palma, the leader of the United Serbia (JS) party.

This loss of a friend was difficult for Dacic, and he previously broke down in tears on TV as he was talking about Markovic's illness and death.

According to Dacic, it was not only the disease that killed him, but also stress.

"I could not believe that this could happen. When I tell you, it was like a bolt from the blue. His condition suddenly worsened. He died in the Zemun Hospital in Belgrade, it is true that he had liver problems. I think now some are saying it was cirrhosis, everyone immediately associates it with alcoholism.

But he never drank, this was about some other problems, they found a certain bacteria in his body. The entire organism was disrupted, including the kidneys and the heart... He was resuscitated twice, the third time it did not work," the minister said as he appeared on TV Pink.
