Horror near Ivanjica! Mother kills baby with pacifier!

T.D., a woman from the vicinity of the town of Ivanjica, has been arrested by order of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Cacak, on suspicion that she committed aggravated murder.

It is suspected that she, in her family home, cut off the rubber part of a pacifier through which she threaded a thread, and then put it in the mouth of her 2-month-old baby to swallow.

"She intended to later pull the string and pull out that rubber part of the pacifier (once the baby had suffocated) in order to cover up the murder. In the meantime she took her other child to the kindergarten, and told her brother to pick up the baby if it cried," a source has said.

When the suspect's brother checked on the baby and realized that it had suffocated, he pulled out the piece of rubber and took the baby to the Healthcare Center, where the doctors pronounced it dead.

The suspect has admitted to the crime to the police.
