Egyptian Minister of Information Technologies Amr Talaat is visiting Serbia

Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Egypt Amr Talaat will be on an official visit to Serbia from today until November 27 at the invitation of Minister of Information and Telecommunications Dejan Ristic.

The two ministers will meet this morning at the Government of Serbia, and are planned to give statements to the media after the meeting, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies announced in a statement.

As part of the official visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Egypt, Amr Talaat will also meet with the Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, Jelena Begovic, as well as representatives of several leading institutions in the ICT sector.

The Egyptian minister will visit the science and technology parks in Belgrade and Novi Sad, the State Data Center in Kragujevac, the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad and the Institute for Artificial Intelligence.

As part of the agenda of the official visit, the presentation of several prominent Serbian IT companies will be organized.

It is expected that this visit will contribute to the further improvement of Serbian-Egyptian cooperation in the field of ICT, the statement added.
