Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a letter to his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic, inviting him to Moscow, and Telegraf obtained the text.

"I invite you to take part in the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, which will be held in Moscow on May 9, 2025. This is the most important date that symbolizes the end of the most terrible war in the history of mankind. We pay deep respect to the heroism of our fathers and grandfathers and bow our heads before the many victims of Nazism.

I am convinced that preserving the memory of the great victory strengthens the common commitment to oppose any manifestation of neo-Nazism and increase constructive cooperation in order to ensure peace and security on the planet. I will be sincerely glad to see you in Mosow. Respectfully,

Vladimir Putin."
