Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petkovic said that last night that the so-called the Kosovo police had taken the director of the elementary school from Gojbulja to Jarinje.

According to Petkovic, the prime minister of the provisional institutions in Pristina, Albin Kurti, in this way started a showdown with Serb schools.

"Tonight, Kurti's police in Jarinje detained the principal of the elementary school from Gojbulja because he carried the Serb school's seals with him! He was released after questioning, while the seals were seized. With this, Kurti started a showdown with Serb schools, which he would like to shut down and take the right to education away from the children," Petkovic posted on X.

He added that the EU and the Quint countries have been informed about this instance of violence and direct violation of the agreement.

"A move against Serb schools would be the end of everything," Petkovic concluded.
