Drama close to the White House: Police block polling station, suspicious package found in ballot box

On US election day, a true drama was unfolding in Washington after a suspicious package was found in one of the ballot boxes at a polling station near the White House.

The entire area was immediately blocked off, and numerous police patrols arrived at the scene.

A Telegraf reporter at the scene says that the building has not been evacuated yet, but that everyone who was in front of it at the time the package was found had to move to a safe distance.
