Double murderer from Montenegro surrounded in Orasac! This is what major police operation looks like!
According to the latest information, fugitive Alija Balijagic, who is suspected of having committed a double murder in the village of Sokolac near Bijelo Polje in Montenegro, and for whom the search has lasted for 13 days now, has been located in the village of Orasac near Brodarevo, Serbia.
"The Gendarmerie have arrived and are searching the area, drones and sniffer dogs are also used in the operation. The ring is tightening around the fugitive," a source at the scene told RINA.
During the previous days, the locals reported seeing Balijagic in the villages of Ivezici and Brajkovac, also close to Brodarevo and Prijepolje.
Due to the potential danger posed by a fugitive suspected of murder, schools in the villages around Brodarevo are closed.
Both Serbian and Montenegrin police are looking for Balijagic.
However, when it was reported that Balijagic had crossed the border and was Serbia, surveillance measures were relaxed in the vicinity of Bijelo Polje.
