Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Goran Vesic, said today that a BG Voz train running on the Ovca-Resnik line (on the outskirts of Belgrade) has been stoned again and that its doors and windows have been broken.

He said that the stoning took place last night by unidentified persons at the Kijevo stop, and that the police have completed the investigation.

The minister strongly condemned this incident, adding that this kind of vandalism and arrogance is not happening for the first time, and reminded that the high-speed train Soko was also attacked with stones recently.

Vesic said that this is the fourth stoning of a train in less than three weeks, and that another BG Voz train was stoned in this same place the other day, which shows that these incidents are not random.

The minister made an appeal to stop the destruction of state property because it belongs to all citizens and said he expects that all those who stoned the BG Voz train will be detained and prosecuted.
