A dentist in Bosnia-Herzegovina who extracted a 16-year-old girl's tooth, after which she passed away, has spoken, having allegedly told DZ.D.'s family "not to go after his livelihood."

The girl died after a routine dental intervention during which her tooth was extracted, but this was followed by complications.

A storm surrounding her death has not subsided, and now the dental practice, which is owned by H.M., has reacted.

While waiting for the results of the autopsy, after which it will be determined exactly why the girl died, the dentist's shocking behavior has left nobody indifferent, writes Avaz.

According to this Sarajevo-based media outlet, the dentist who performed the intervention shocked the teenager's family members the most.

"Don't go after my livelihood," the doctor told the stunned family.

He was contacted by Avaz journalists, and told them that he wanted them to "respect his privacy."

The Prosecutor's Office of the Sarajevo Canton has been informed about the case, and has launched an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to this tragic outcome.
