An unusual incident happened on Monday during a funeral in a village near Leskovac!

The portal Resetka is reporting that just a few minutes after the deceased was laid to rest, a brawl and then violence broke out when his son-in-law attacked his son.

He wanted the property left by his father in law to be divided in half. Local media reports that the family was shocked by the argument, however, when the man attacked his wife's brother, the police were called.

At that moment, the son-in-law, originally from the province of Vojvodina, ran away, and a police search for him followed.

"The police took all the measures and actions within their jurisdiction, the man was found, and the case was sent to the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office," Resetka was told by the Leskovac police.

What's interesting is that he was not found by the police, but by a resident of the village, after a search that lasted ten hours.

"The police couldn't find him, but I went to search for the fugitive myself and found him in complete darkenss behind the Mrstan playground, because he left his car there. I counted on the fact that he didn't know the terrain and couldn't get far," recounts the local, Vladica S., adding that at that moment the man was not violent and that he regretted his actions.

Vladica then called the police, who took the man in for questioning.
