The president of the Serbian Assembly, Ana Brnabic, has said that the citizens of Serbia, after the session of the Assembly (dedicated to lithium mining), could see that the institutions are doing their job, adding that that she believes that the citizens will trust the institutions of their country, as well as that the government is always open and does not run away from any topic.

"I expect people to trust the institutions and their country, and I certainly believe that most of them will trust Aleksandar Vucic when he says that he will be the biggest policeman of Rio Tinto and the greatest guardian of our national interests, as he always has been. And that nothing will be done until it is proven that the land, watercourses, and people's health can be safe. In any case, that project certainly cannot start during the next two years," Brnabic told RTV Pink.

She stressed that this is the decisive battle of the opposition who want to seize power and seize the state by force, but that lithium is no longer a topic for politicians.

"From this point on, professionals will have the last word on everything. As for why it is a decisive battle, you have Dragan Solak, who really is the owner of the opposition, and you have Dragan Djilas, who is the general manager of the opposition. And you see that no one else can even be the opposition if they don't agree to have Solak as their owner and Dragan Djilas as their general manager. In that case they have no access to their media," said Brnabic.

She mentioned the example of Dragan Milic from Nis, who was attacked by the opposition media just because he said that Milos Vucevic was an excellent mayor of Novi Sad.
