Major police and prosecution operation in Belgrade and Nis nabs cocaine dealers

The police, in cooperation with the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, have arrested P.U. (50) on suspicion that he committed the crime of illegally producing and selling drugs.

After inspecting the suspect's apartment and car, the police found 600 grams of cocaine in several packages, 300 grams of marijuana, as well as a large amount of cash.

At the same time, on suspicion that in the previous period he had committed the same criminal act, the police officers in the town of Nis arrested A.C. (32). He is believed to have take over a kilogram of cocaine from P.U. in order to resell it.

The suspect P.U. is now detained by the police for up to 48 hours and will afterwards be brought before the competent prosecutor's office, along with a criminal complaint.
