Vucic welcomes Erdogan at Belgrade airport: Turkish president arrived for two-day visit

Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic last night welcomed his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport.

According to the agenda of the visit, a formal welcoming ceremony will be held in front of the Palace of Serbia on Friday morning, followed by a meeting between the two presidents.

After that, the 4th session of the High Council for Cooperation between the two countries, led by the two presidents, will be held.

"Your new visit is another opportunity to further strengthen our friendly relations and cooperation. I believe that during your stay in Belgrade we will work together to improve the economic, cultural and political ties between our countries," was President Vucic's message for his Turkish colleague upon his arrival in Belgrade.

An agreement-signing ceremony will follow, in the presence of the two president, who will then address the press.

Vucic and Erdogan will also attend a business forum in the afternoon in Belgrade's Hyatt Hotel.
