Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric spoke on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly with Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines Enrique Manalo.

Djuric told Manalo that our country is interested in intensifying the political dialogue and organizing visits at the high and highest level, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The minister thanked the Philippines for the principled support for Serbia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, both bilaterally and multilaterally, stressing that adherence to international law is what firmly binds the two countries.

The head of Serbian diplomacy indicated that Serbia is ready to offer a concrete exchange of experience and knowledge in the use of new technologies in agriculture through its agricultural institutes, at the same time inviting the Philippines to participate in the International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad in May 2025, as well as the International Tourism Fair in Belgrade in February 2025 to promote the tourism potential of the Philippines.

Djuric also said he hopes that even more students from the Philippines will come to our country as part of the "World in Serbia" scholarship program, which will contribute to the two countries and the two peoples getting even closer, according to the statement.
