President Aleksandar Vucic addressed the public in Serbia from New York City, where he yesterday spoke at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

"There have been many meetings, important meetings. I spoke with presidents of several African countries, which is of great importance for our country," he noted, and added:

"We expect the president of Angola to visit in January or February. I will continue presenting decorations today and tomorrow (related to the Srebrenica resolution) before we take off. There, we can do many good things for political and economic cooperation. I am grateful to the friends from China for their friendship made of steel. I spoke to the president of Iran about all the problems, both in the Middle East and our problems. My gratitude for their support of the territorial integrity of Serbia," said Vucic.

Vucic also said that he had a conversation with Elon Musk.

"The man knew everything about Serbia, much more than I expected. I also spoke with (an executive) of Amazon, which will expand operations in Serbia."

The president stressed that he is satisfied with his speech before the UN Assembly.

"No one could tell me that I said something untrue. I am the happiest that I spoke the truth and what the Serb people and citizens of Serbia feel," he said.

Vucic expressed a number of important messages in his speech last night.

"Peace is more important today than anything else, but no one sees peace as a significant value. On the contrary, all the powerful (countries), justifying their powerful policies, talk about a just peace, which means that they should win, and that others should not only lose, but also be completely destroyed.

All the actors, without exception, will refer to the norms of international law that are in their favor, and they will deliberately forget what they themselves have done and what they are still doing today. Also, other great powers will remind them of that, who will also forget about (their own) misdeeds, but will endlessly point out to the violations of international law by those others," the president said, among other things.
