Vucevic's clear message to his ministers: "They will have to deal with Kosovo more and set up special teams"

Ministers in the government will have to deal more with Kosovo and Metohija, Prime Minister Milos Vucevic told Pink TV.

Vucevic stated that all ministries have been ordered to begin the urgent drafting of all acts and legal solutions in accordance with the (president's) announcements.

"In particular, the Ministry of Labour, Social Welfare and Veterans' Rights, where Kosovo and Metohija is declared an area of special social support, the Ministry of Justice regarding the introduction of a special department for everything happening in Kosovo and Metohija, and the third act by which we will declare illegal all acts unilaterally carried out by Pristina, that will not produce a public effect for us.

With that, we are going before the people's deputies (the Assembly). We have no intention of having fruitless debates, here we are fighting for the mere survival of the people of Kosovo and Metohija and the entire country. We are defending Serbia, the goal is not to have wars, but to act dumb and turn a blind eye is unacceptable. Ministers in the government will have to deal much more with Kosovo and Metohija, not only with tenders, good PR agencies, nice photo opportunities. I criticize my own government.

They will have to have special teams that will be dedicated to working daily on Kosovo and Metohija. On a daily basis, hardly anyone does, except for the Office for Kosovo and Metohija and the president. And on the other hand, Albin Kurti and his team only deal with that. We will also deal with pensions and salaries, we will not neglect them, but we will shake and wake things up. The support of China and the Russian Federation, as well as a large number of African and Asian countries, is not disputed. We need the EU, but I do not accept that a condition for us to be part of the European family is to amputate a part of ourselves.

Vucevic stressed that it is unnatural not to support the state's policy.

"Some coalition nominated you, led by the president, the citizens gave the majority support, therefore you get the job as a cabinet minister. Then you don't feel like being a part of that policy. What are you? An expert. But an expert in beautiful things, not in difficult things. Let someone else talk about the RS (Serb Republic) and Kosovo and Metohija, because they don't know how the embassies will react. And how will the embassies react to the fact that they (Pristina) have arrested an 85-year-old man," said the minister.
