The son of former football ace Nemanja Vidic, Luka Vidic, has signed for the Zeleznicar football club from Pancevo.

The club was, and still is, active in this transfer window, and the son of the famous footballer signing for them is certainly the most resounding transfer in the city on the Tamis River.

Luka was born in 2006, he plays as the right back, and started his football career in Inter Milan, continued in Red Star (Crvena Zvezda), and then in Vozdovac (Belgrade), where he played for the cadet and youth teams.

"The end of the transfer window is marked in the colors of the 'diesel' on the Tamis," said the club.

The management of the Serbian SuperLiga club from Pancevo were very active during the summer "football market," putting together a team that will be able to respond to all the demands of Marko Savic and his coaching staff.

Their colors will be defended by two more quality players as the season continues - namely Luka Vidic and Boris Sekulic.

Luka was born in 2006, he will come of age in December and represents the future of the club. This talented guy plays as the right back, the club said on social media.

His first footballing steps were made at Inter Milan, he trained with Red Star, and then moved to Vozdovac, where he played for the cadet and then the youth team. It was Marko Savic, now Zeleznicar's head coach, who included him in the first team last winter.

The club was also reinforced by the experienced 32-year-old Boris Sekulic, who returned to Serbian football after 12 years.

This Belgrade-born footballer made his career mostly in Slovakia, where he played with great success for Kosice and Slovan.

Boris also has a Slovak passport, so he played for this country four times. He grew up in Zemun (Belgrade municipality) and he played for Beograd (Belgrade), Polish Gornik, Chicago and CSKA from Sofia.

Zeleznicar will now play away against Vojvodina in Novi Sad, as part of the 8th SuperLiga matchday. The game is scheduled to start on Saturday at 6 pm. - the club announced.

Other than Vidic and Sekulic, new members of Zeleznicar as of this summer are El Fardou Ben, Sekou Sanogo, Zoran Popovic, Nemanja Milunovic, Matija Mitrovic, Marko Jevremovic, Stefan Pirgic, Stefan Cvetkovic...
