President Vucic to meet with Israeli counterpart in Palace of Serbia

President Aleksandar Vucic today welcomed President of Israel Isaac Herzog, who is on a one-day official visit to Serbia.

President Vucic hosted a formal welcome for the Israeli president in front of the Palace of Serbia at 10:30 am.

After that, a meeting between the two presidents followed, as well as a meeting between the delegations of Serbia and Israel.

Around noon, Vucic and Herzog will address the public, and then a round table dubbed, "Synergy in innovations, conversations between Serbia and Israel."

This is the first visit at this level since Israel recognized Kosovo and Metohija on September 4, 2020, and then established diplomatic relations with Pristina on February 1, 2021.

President of the Assembly of Serbia Ana Brnabic, on the eve of Herzog's arrival, expressed her belief that the visit will provide an important impetus for a new phase in the development of bilateral relations.
