"The arrested person, initials M.Th.K., was wanted by the authorities of Saudi Arabia on an international warrant for involvement in criminal activities, specifically financial fraud.
Regarding the arrested person, the procedures for such cases will be continued in coordination with other institutions, including judicial authorities," a police statement said.
Indeksonline's sources claim that the detained person is 52-year-old Mohammed Khalifah Al Thawab.
He is suspected of committing various types of financial fraud.
