Cameras lead to robbers from New Belgrade: They waited, beat and robbed businessman from Netherlands

Businessman from the Netherlands A.R. (32) last week in New Belgrade lost 5,000 euros, all documents and a mobile phone in front of a well-known restaurant.

After the robbery, he was admitted to the Military Medical Academy, where he was diagnosed with head injuries.

Telegraf.rs has learned that he was in the restaurant with a friend at around 8 pm on Wednesday. As soon as he got to his car, two men approached. After assaulting him, they took a small bag with money and all his belongings. Who knows what would have happened to A.R. had he did not run back to the restaurant and askdc the employees for help.

They called the police and the ambulance.

A.R. said during the investigation conducted by the Third Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade that he did not owe anything to anyone and had no enemies. According to him, he lives and works in the Netherlands and is engaged in private business.

According to the latest information, the police took video footage from security cameras in order to identify the robbers as soon as possible.

A.R. gave a detailed description of the men who beat and robbed him.
