Djokovic posts wonderful message for Serbian Paralympians

Novak Djokovic this summer won the long-awaited gold at the Olympic Games, but after some time to rest, he failed to repeat last year's success at the US Open.

The Serbian, who won the trophy in New York City last year, got eliminated in the third round, but will soon wear Serbia shirt again when he plays in a Davis Cup tie against Greece.

He used the interim period to recharge his batteries a bit, as he prepares for the coming challenge, but also followed the events in the world of sports.

Thus he took to Instagram to congratulate the Serbian Paralympians on their great successes.

The Paralympic Games closed on Sunday, and our athletes brought back a total of six medals - more than those participating in the Olympic Games that ended a month earlier.

"Congratulations to our Paralympians. Thank you," Novak Djokovic wrote.

By the end of the year, Djokovic is sure to participate in Shanghai Masters, probably Paris too, and there he will try to collect enough points to qualify for the Final Masters in Turin.
