Angelina Topic has won the gold medal
Young Serbian athlete Angelina Topic became the world high jump champion at the 2024 World Athletics U20 Championships held in Lima, Peru.

She jumped 191 centimeters, which was by far the best results, coming only a month after a serious injury.
Just the fact that she managed to recover so quickly makes her success even greater.
The golden Angelina arrived from Lima, and was met at the airport by the coach of the Serbian athletics team, Edin Zukovic, and the president of the Athletics Federation of Serbia, Veselin Jevrosimovic.
They welcomed her home with bouquets of flowers.
