Serbs again gather in front of Kosovska Mitrovica Municipality building: They are asking to be allowed to work

Serbs gathered this morning in front of the Municipality building in Kosovska Mitrovica, demanding that the so-called Kosovo police, which blocked it on Friday, let them go inside and do their jobs.

Several hundred Serbs gathered at 7:30 in front of the Municipality building, demanding that they be allowed to work and provide basic services to their fellow citizens, regardless of nationality. They are not allowed to do that.

Their message is that despite everything, they will stay in their homes and that no one will drive them away.

What they once again found in front of the Municipality were members of the police, yellow tape and a blockade.

On Friday, the so-called Kosovo police used force and illegally raided Serb institutions in four Serb municipalities in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, as well as the premises of the PIO (state pension) Fund, the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, the Kosovko-Mitrovacki Administrative District and the Center for Social Welfare, and kept them under blockade ever since.
