Vucic welcomes Macron: "Importance of your visit for us is immeasurable"

President Aleksandar Vucic welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron late yesterday at the Belgrade airport and pointed out that the importance of that visit for Serbia is "immeasurable."

"Welcome, dear friend! The significance of your visit for us is immeasurable in the political and economic sense, and I hope that, as a country and a people, we will be able to return the respect and attention you show to our Serbia", Vucic wrote on Instagram.

New steps are ahead of us, added Vucic, with which we will expand the partnership and strengthen the traditionally good relations between our two countries and two peoples.

"Long live the friendship between Serbia and France," wrote Vucic.

Macron arrived in Belgrade and was met at the Nikola Tesla Airport by Vucic, as well as Ambassador of France in Belgrade Pierre Cochard and Ambassador of Serbia in Paris Ana Hrustanovic.
