Novak Djokovic continues to write tennis history with virtually every match. With the victory over compatriot Laslo Djere - who had to abandon the match while Novak was leading 6-4, 6-4, 2-0 - he broke a new record!

After the first round match at this year's US Open, Novak became the "King of Arthur Ashe" because he achieved the most victories playing in the biggest tennis stadium in the world, and now after the second round he has set a new incredible record.

Namely, Novak has 90 victories at the US Open, meaning that he has at least 90 victories at every Grand Slams - the first player in history to achieve something of the sort.

Novak has 94 victories at the Australian Open, 96 at Roland Garros, 97 at Wimbledon, and at the US Open he currently stands at 90 - and we hope that by the end of the tournament the number will be five more!

How big this achievement is and how far Novak is ahead of the competition is also evident in the fact that no one else managed to even reach the figure of 80 at every Grand Slam!

For example, one of Novak's biggest rivals, Roger Federer, failed to do that, because he has 73 victories at the French Open, 102 at the Australian Open, 105 at Wimbledon, and 89 at the US Open.

Rafael Nadal is even worse in that statistic, because apart from the French Open, he has not had more than 80 wins at any other Grand Slam - 112 at the French Open, 77 at the Australian Open, 58 at Wimbledon and 67 at the US Open.
