Indictment raised against Saric and Belivuk for the murders in Athens and Corfu
The Public Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime today raised an indictment against 19 defendants: Veljko Belivuk, Darko Saric, Milovan Zdravkovic, Ratko Zivkovic, Stefan Andrejic, Dragan Tomic, Marko Petkovic, Vladimir Mandic, Slobodan Vujacic, Natasa Dedic, Blagoj Gasic, Nebojsa Jankovis, Vladimir Vojnovic, Dusan Jovanovic, Rade Stojicevic, Filip Knezevic, Milinko Brasnovic, Marko Stankovic, and Milos Jevric.
They are charged with conspiracy to commit criminal offenses and two counts of aggravated murder.
The murders were committed in January 2020 in Athens, when Stevan Stamatovic and Igor Dedovic were killed, while Alan Kozar and Damir Hadzic were the victims on Corfu on July 23, 2020.
The defendants Veljko Belivuk and Darko Saric, as well as Radoje Zvicer, a citizen of Montenegro against whom proceedings are being conducted in Greece for these criminal acts, have been identified as organizers.
A trial in absentia was proposed for Milos Jevric, Milovan Zdravkovic, Ratko Zivkovic, Stefan Andrejic, Blagoj Gasic, Filip Knezevic and Marko Stankovic, while extended detention was proposed for 12 others.
The indictment is, among other things, the result of the work of a joint investigative team of the judicial authorities of Serbia and Greece.
The indictment was submitted for confirmation to the Higher Court's Special Department for Organized Crime in Belgrade.
