A passenger train on the Belgrade-Bar line has collided with a car on the part of the railway between Lazarevac and Lajkovac.

Three people who were traveling in the car, that was crossing the railroad when the train swept it away, have died, while a fourth received serious injuries.

The accident happened shortly before 1 pm today at a level crossing that had both light signals and road markings.
