Members of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) in Paracin arrested Turkish citizen R.B. (28) on suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of illegal border crossing and people smuggling.

The police found 19 irregular migrants in the Mercedes with German license plates driven by the suspect.
R.B. previously on the Paracin-Zajecar road refused to stop at the police signal, hit a police car with his Mercedes and fled into the nearby forest, but the officers soon found and arrested him.
The suspect will be detained by the police for up to 48 hours, after which he will be brought to the competent prosecutor's office with a criminal complaint.
