HORRIFIC video of mass brawl in Sjenica: People hitting, kicking, jumping on young man lying motionless

Two days ago, in the late evening hours, a fight broke out in Sjenica, in southwestern Serbia, during which several persons attacked a young man.

According to a source, the incident happened around 10:30 pm in a street in Sjenica, during a festival that was held in this town August 1-4.

The source also says that, while a concert was taking place, a group of young men attacked another, chased him down and then inflicted terrible injuries on him, hitting him with both hands and feet, while he lay motionless on the ground.

"A young man from Novi Pazar tried to prevent an argument between a group of guys from Sjenica and a group from Novi Pazar, but at one point one of them punched him. When he tried to get away, the attackers followed him and beat him up," an eyewitnesses told Kurir.

The police soon arrived at the scene and two people were detained. The police are still looking for other participants in the fight.

A criminal complaint has been filed against both arrested persons for violent behavior, and one of them was detained for up to 48 hours.

The investigation is led by the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Novi Pazar, and after detailed questioning, more information will be known about what had led to the incident and the indentity of other participants.
