Nothing happens by accident

Serbia's Novak Djokovic managed to reach the quarterfinals of the tennis tournament at the Olympic Games in Paris, as Matthew Ebden, then Rafael Nadal, and Dominik Koepfer all fell to him.

Djokovic is now set to play against Stefanos Tsitsipas. Interestingly, after each of the victories, Djokovic made a gesture in front of the cameras that could be said to be happening "accidentally."

Namely, after every victory, after changing his shirt and going in front of the cameras, Djokovic does one thing. Each of the three interviews began by him taking out the cross that he wears around his neck, and is normally never on display.

This caused a huge response on social networks, where a certain number of people were upset about it, but there are also those who support the gesture, because they think he is doing this to spite the organizers of the Olympic Games over what happened at the opening.

The opening ceremony featured a performance mocking the depiction of the Last Supper, after which one of the sponsors withdrew.

This is exactly what some social media users believe is behind Novak showing his cross every time he appears in front of the cameras.
