Monstat: Serbia is Montenegro's most important foreign trade partner
The total foreign trade exchange of Montenegro in the first six months amounted to 2.22 billion euros, and the largest foreign trade partner when it comes to imports is Serbia with 324.8 million euros, according to the data of Montenegro's Administration for Statistics.
China is second on this list with 229.1 million euros, followed by Germany with 199.5 million euros, reports RTRS.
The value of exported goods was 287.9 million euros, which is 24.5 percent less than in the comparative period. Imports were higher by 5.9 percent and amounted to 1.93 billion euros.
The largest foreign trade partner in exports was also Serbia with 86.3 million euros, followed by Bosnia and Herzegovina (18.6 million euros) and Switzerland (16.9 million euros).
Mineral fuels and lubricants worth 61.9 million euros are the most represented in the export structure, while on the import side these were machines and transport devices, worth 493.1 million euros.
