President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic today congratulated President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro on his victory in the elections and wished him success in his professional efforts and challenges in leading his country.

"I congratulate you on the victory in the elections. The times we live in are certainly not easy, and I wish you success in your professional efforts and challenges in leading the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela," Vucic's message reads, as quoted by the the presidential press office.
Vucic also stressed that Serbia appreciates Venezuela's respect for the principles of international law, the UN Charter, Resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council, thereby supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.
