The debate about the minimum wage is scheduled for August 15, and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced from Paris that it will rise to more than 51,000 dinars (some 430 euros), while pensions will be increased by more than 10 percent.

Currently, the minimum wage is 47,154 dinars.

"In Serbia, 620,000 people receive an average salary of over 100,000 dinars, more than 100,000 people receive a salary of more than 200,000 dinars, the minimum wage will be over 51,000 dinars, and pensions will be increased by more than 10 percent," said Vucic.
