Here is what Jokic's brother told the police after his arrest
He is awaiting a hearing on August 21
Although at first it seemed that the fan he attacked would not sue, Strahinja Jokic, Nikola Jokic's brother, ended up in the police after his arrest!
We already reported about what kind of indictment he was charged with, while the police documents also revealed an explanation as to why Strahinja hit a fan during a match between Denver and Los Angeles Lakers back in April.
The media in the US got hold of those documents, which state, "When the police contacted him, Strahinja Jokic told them that he believed he had done nothing wrong because he was defending an elderly man whom he had known for a long time."
A spokesman for the Denver owners declined to comment on the case, while Strahinja is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing on August 21.
