Palma: United Serbia demands harshest punishment for those who call for assassination of Serbian president

United Serbia leader Dragan "Palma" Markovic has strongly condemned those who call for assassination of President Vucic.

"The latest case of somebody calling for the murder of the president of Serbia was a person from Pancevo who lives in Jagodina, yet more proof that the state of Serbia, i.e. the competent authorities, the court and the prosecutor's office, should severely punish those madmen who call for the murder of the highest state authorities, in this in the case Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. United Serbia believes that in this regard, the punishment should be drastically harsher. Such persons, who call for the killing of anyone, let alone the president, belong in a psychiatric facility or in jail. There are crazy people everywhere, but it's known where such people belong," he said.

He also stated that his party, United Serbia (JS), and the town of Jagodina fully support President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and everything he is doing with the goal of a better tomorrow for all citizens of Serbia.

"Once again, I am asking the authorities, the court and the prosecution, to apply the maximum penalties against such lunatics who call for the murder of the highest state officials elected by the vast majority of citizens of Serbia, like our President Aleksandar Vucic. I also call on the police to react immediately in such cases, because that person who called for assassination of the president via social networks has been doing it for a long time," said Markovic.
