Police guarded driver of "BMW of death" in hospital, who was on drugs when he crashed his car killing 2 youths

The driver of "a BMW of death," S.T. (21), suspected of causing a traffic accident near Cuprija in which two young men were killed and one minor girl was injured is recovering in the intensive care unit of the General Hospital in Cuprija.

Until now, he was under the supervision of the police, and now this task is being carried out by officials from the Cuprija prison.

"On suspicion that he committed a serious crime against public traffic safety, the judge from the Higher Court in Jagodina ordered the detention of S.T. for up to 30 days," the police confirmed for RINA.

He was driving a car with a probationary license and was under the influence of cannabis when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed it off the road. The car overturned several times, killing Sava Radulovic (21) (in the photo) and Strahinja M. (20), while the N.P., Sava's 16-year-old girlfriend, suffered spinal injuries.
