Deputies in the Assembly of Serbia today continue the debate on the Declaration on the Protection of National and Political Rights and the Common Future of the Serb People, and other items on the agenda.

Prime Minister Milos Vucevic said, presenting the Declaration to deputies, that it represents the foundation of national policy, adding that all key factors were involved in its drafting.

According to him, the Declaration states that the Serb people represent a single entity, that there is a necessity to hold the All-Serb Assembly once every two years, and that the process of national reconciliation will be implemented.

The declaration was adopted on June 8 during the All-Serb Assembly in Belgrade, and in the Assembly of the Serb Republic on July 2.
