Serbian Deputy PM Aleksandar Vulin: Serbia is ruled by law and October 5 will not happen again
"This government will not allow foreign services, through their associates on the streets, to make decisions instead of the courts," says Vulin
Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin says the country is ruled by law and October 5 (unrest that resulted in the Milosevic government overthrown in 2000) will not happen again.
"With Tuesday's decree, the Government of Serbia has implemented the decision of the Constitutional Court. Nothing more, nothing less than that. Those who ask us not to implement the decision of the highest judicial instance are asking us to carry out a coup d'état. The Government of Serbia is not the service of any company, nor any group and not a single lobby. The decisions of the Constitutional Court are implemented, they are not discussed. This government will not allow foreign services to make decisions on the streets instead of the courts.
Serbia is ruled by law and October 5 will not happen again," said Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin, commenting on the fact that the Government of Serbia implemented the decision of the Constitutional Court regarding the Jadar project, and responding to the requests coming from "NATO parties" not to implement those decisions.
