The Serbian football team ended its participation in EURO 2024 in a undignified manner, as the last in group C and failing to advance, unlike England, Denmark and Slovenia.

The departure to Germany itself was also undignified, because the FSS leased a plane with the Croatian flag printed on it.

This scandal was discovered only after the team was eliminated from the competition, and as President of the National Assembly Ana Brnabic said on TV Happy, it particularly annoyed President Aleksandar Vucic, who briefly got on the plane to see the squad off.

However, because of the flag on the plane, he got very upset and extremely angry with certain leaders of the FSS, who organized the charter flight to Germany.

Telegraf has learned that this flight from Belgrade to Munuch cost 48,500 euros. This was the one way price, since the team returned on an Air Serbia plane, belonging to the country's carrier.

This and many other organizational failures by the FSS, as well as bad results in the last two major competitions, will cause major changes in our umbrella football institution. These changes are expected at all levels, from the head of the FSS, to head coach Dragan "Piksi" Stojkovic.

A session of the FSS Executive Board is expected at the end of next week, when these decisions should be made official.
