Deputy PM Vulin: Serbia should show gratitude to Spain
Aleksandar Vulin has commented on the move of the Spanish Parliament, which rejected the initiative submitted by Catalan parties for Spain to recognize so-called Kosovo
Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin is asking on whose behalf, after the vote in Spain's parliament, is Josep Borrell demanding that we (Serbia) recognize so-called Kosovo?
"With a majority that would not have been achieved even in the Serbian parliament, the Catalan separatists' initiative for Spain to recognize so-called Kosovo was rejected. Serbia should show its gratitude to Spain, but also its politicians should learn how to defend the integrity of the state regardless of party differences. After Spain's vote, we have to ask on whose behalf is Borrell demanding that Serbia recognizes so-called Kosovo? In the name of the country that sent him to Brussels, or of the administration in Brussels?", said Vulin.
He thus commented on the fact that the Spanish parliament rejected on Thursday the initiative of several Catalan parties for Spain to recognize so-called Kosovo, while on the other hand, Spanish politician and the high representative of the EU for foreign policy and security, Josep Borrell, is demanding that Serbia should do that.
